BENGAL PRO T 20 LEAGUE

*CAB President Sourav Ganguly, CAB Office Bearers launches ninth franchise of Bengal Pro T20 League* 

As we approach the exciting Season 3 of the Bengal Pro T20 League this June 2026, The Cricket Association of Bengal on Tuesday officially launched the ninth franchise, Novus Purulia Royals, for the T20 extravaganza. 

It was an evening dedicated to the expansion of the Bengal Pro T20 League legacy so that it can reach unparalleled success. 

CAB President Mr Sourav Ganguly, CAB Secretary Mr Bablu Kolay, CAB Vice President Mr Nitish Ranjan Dutta, CAB Joint Secretary Mr Madan Mohan Ghosh, CAB Treasurer Mr Sanjay Das, Bengal Pro T20 League Chairman Mr Samiran Das unveiled the new franchise in presence of Novus Purulia Royals owners.

CAB also felicitated all nine franchises of the League, Sobisco Smashers Malda, Murshidabad Kings&Kueens, Adamas Howrah Warriors, Servotec Siliguri Strikers, Shrachi Rarh Tigers, Harbour Diamonds, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards and Novus Purulia Royals.

"Bengal Pro T20 League, since its first season has been a success, helping find pool of talent in both the men’s and women’s categories. With eight teams, the last two seasons have been a big hit. Now, I am thrilled to announce the ninth franchise for the League, and I hope the third season of the Bengal Pro T20 League will be bigger and better," CAB President Mr Ganguly said.

Also present for the occasion were Women’s cricket legend Jhulan Goswami, India star cricketers Md Shami, Ajinkya Rahane and Rinku Singh.
